On the eve of the Olympics. 126 years later

олим символ.jpgThe motto of the Olympic Games is the words "Citius, Altius, Fortius" - "Faster, higher, stronger". IOC leader Bach suggested inserting another word - "Communis", which means "together".

Bach linked the proposal to change the motto of the Olympics to a coronavirus pandemic. According to him, in the conditions when the world has faced the consequences of the disease, all countries need to unite.

The proposal is expected to be supported during the organization's meeting in Tokyo, which will take place on July 20-21, two or three days before the start of the Olympic Games.
